What are Steel Frame Systems (SFS)?
Steel Frame Systems (SFS), generally comprising of cold formed U tracks, C studs and associated fixings and accessories, are a well established and trusted way of rapidly constructing a building's external wall and preparing it to accept various types of aesthetic cladding and facade. They are particularly well suited to multi-storey buildings whose primary structure is either reinforced concrete or structural steel.

SFS usually comes in two types of system; infill, the most common type, in which the frame is fixed inside the primary structure, and continuous walling, or "oversail", in which the frame is built on the outside and fixed back to the primary structure by cleats.
